Main Street PAC Congratulates Rep. Elect David Jolly (R-FL)

U.S. Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) – “David Jolly’s win last night provides a blueprint for Republican candidates all across the country in the critical November mid-terms.”

(Washington, DC) – Last night, David Jolly (R-FL) defeated Alex Sink (D-FL) in the closely watched special election in Florida’s 13th Congressional District.  Main Street PAC had endorsed Jolly and run a radio ad campaign highlighting Sink’s support for the President’s failed healthcare plan.  In response to Jolly’s victory, U.S. Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI), on behalf of the Main Street PAC, issued the following statement:

“David Jolly’s win last night provides a blueprint for Republican candidates all across the country in the critical November mid-terms.  Alex Sink lost, despite enjoying high name ID and a flood of outside money, in large part because of Sink’s support for President Obama’s disastrous healthcare law.

“The Main Street PAC, which ran radio ads highlighting Alex Sink’s support for Obamacare, is proud to have played a small role in this important victory.  We congratulate Rep. elect Jolly and look forward to having his common sense conservative voice in Washington.”
